In order to educate those affected and their relatives about the rare disease primary and secondary hyperoxaluria, Gipfelgold developed several 2D animated films in-house, aimed primarily at older children, adolescents and adults. These films communicate complex medical issues in an understandable and simple way, while also offering emotional support by sensitively presenting the challenges and treatment options of this rare disease. The films were translated and synchronised into six languages to give as many children and young people around the world as possible the opportunity to learn more about their disease.
