Hardly anyone knows that Birnbach was part of the Way of St James or the seat of the high court. In order to tell this lively story and to preserve the old village history for future generations, we have compiled the Birnbacher Geschichte(n) picture book. The result is a powerful pictorial work that guides you through the small village and is intended to be understood as a community asset. At the same time, it forms the basis for further projects, such as the current ‘Path of Historic Houses’, which invites you to explore the buildings, some of which are centuries old. It was a personal concern of ours to dedicate our expertise and skills to this special project with pleasure and without a fee and to bring Mr Horst Weller's wealth of knowledge into book form.
