The task was to provide a simple explanation of the next steps and actions in the search for a suitable and safe final disposal site for high-level radioactive waste. This was particularly important in order to give the public all essential information at the kickoff of the repository site search and to support the participation process. For the brochure 'Final Disposal Safety,' we opted from the outset for a minimalist design approach to ensure the importance of the topic was not overshadowed. The development of the communication materials took place in close coordination with the ministry and other relevant organisations.
