The project was a significant challenge, as it not only involved the development of a new corporate design manual aimed at increasing visibility among the public, academia, and politics, and positively conveying the agency’s self-image, but also had to be created within the strict framework of the federal government's style guide. Additionally, we wanted to develop a style guide that would directly engage the agency’s employees. To achieve this, we formed decision-making groups across all departments, who were involved in the development process. Although this made the design process longer, the implementation and identification with the new design were notably faster and more successful. In this context, alongside the large corporate design manual, smaller manuals for special interest groups were created, as well as the BBK's claim.
